web02-prod.kazi.dk has been update!
Those of you that are located at (vhcs01.kazi.dk / web02-prod.kazi.dk) might have experienced some downtime on different services like; Mail, FTP and DB. These short downtimes were caused due to some critical software updates, which was necessary for the security of the server.
These updates were applied to avoid black-hats that might have wanted to use exploits to compromise the server.
Everything is again running stable, same as a bit faster than before - If you experience some issues, feel free to write us at support [ a ] kazi-networks.com !
Have a nice weekend.

The servers have been moved!
After we moved the servers one of them did not come up as expected - Shell01 are suffering from some issues due to a faulty kernel upgrade which caused the server to loose all PCI drivers. We are working on a solution for this, and hopefully we will have that by tonight. Questions can be directed to support [ a ] kazi-networks.com or in our IRC channel #K-N at QuakeNet and OgameNet.
The overall downtime of the remaining servers was calculated to around 15 minutes.

Backbone upgraded
We have just installed a new Backbone switch; this makes us capable of handling 48 Gbps Non-Blocking internally. The downtime was calculated to 2-5 seconds so most of you haven’t noticed the fallout.

New IP range
We have gotten a whole new IP range, which means we are going to move all pages during the evening and night today.
The CS servers have also been changed, though we are going to wait with the BNC part until we have talked with QuakeNet. Though we have already gotten a new Ident from OnlinegamesNet also known as OgameNet, we still have to wait for QuakeNet.org.
We will inform you when this happens.
